Majority of these committed Christians live in East Africa (specifically Ethiopia 🇪🇹)

Ghana 🇬🇭 has the second most people with high religious commitment levels to Christianity in the continent, followed by Nigeria 🇳🇬.

Here is the ranking of the top five African countries with highest percentage of Christians who say that religion is very important in their lives:

• Ethiopia 🇪🇹 - 98%
• Ghana 🇬🇭 - 89%
• Nigeria 🇳🇬 - 82%
• South Africa 🇿🇦 - 72%
• Egypt 🇪🇬 - 50%

Please note the percentages reflect the level of importance of Christian faith to its followers in those countries, not the percentage of Christians to total population.
