When it comes to locating roads/trails traversed by Spanish Conquistadors, miners & priests, look for the crosses carved on cliffs or boulders. These marked safe passage from one location to another over a vast distance. They also carved these near Gold, Silver & Copper mines.
If you find one of these take a look around, you never know what you might find.
